Our team is comprised of experienced professionals with deep expertise in kernel development, model optimization, fine-tuning, and GPU acceleration. We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our ranks and contribute to the development of cutting-edge solutions that transform the landscape of AI model optimization.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize custom kernels for small and large language models, leveraging multiple hardware backends to achieve optimal performance.
  • Implement and optimize full and LoRA fine-tuning for small and large language models, ensuring seamless integration with various hardware configurations.
  • Design and extend datatype and precision support, incorporating advanced techniques such as mixed precision and ternary QTypes.
  • Customize and optimize Vulkan compute shaders for quantized operators and fine-tuning workflows, unlocking unparalleled performance on mobile and integrated GPUs.
  • Investigate and resolve GPU acceleration issues on Vulkan and integrated/mobile GPUs, ensuring robust scalability and optimal memory usage.
  • Architect and prepare support for advanced quantization techniques, driving efficiency and memory usage improvements.
  • Debug and optimize GPU operators, including int8, fp16, fp4, and ternary, to achieve optimal performance.
  • Integrate and validate quantization workflows for training and inference, guaranteeing seamless deployment.
  • Conduct evaluation and benchmarking, utilizing metrics such as perplexity testing and fine-tuned adapter performance to drive innovation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prototype, benchmark, and scale new model optimization methods, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Deliver production-grade, efficient language model deployment for mobile and edge use cases, ensuring clear success metrics and ongoing monitoring.
  • Proficiency in C++ and GPU kernel programming is essential, along with experience in GPU acceleration using the Vulkan framework.
  • Strong background in quantization and mixed-precision model optimization is crucial, as well as familiarity with LoRA fine-tuning and parameter-efficient training methods.
  • Experience in Vulkan compute shader development and customization, along with ability to debug GPU-specific performance and stability issues on desktop and mobile devices, is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with large language model architectures, including Qwen, Gemma, LLaMA, and Falcon, is beneficial.
  • Experience creating and curating custom datasets for style transfer and domain-specific fine-tuning is desirable.
