Job Title: Court Litigation Specialist

This role involves overseeing and managing litigation matters for a company. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of civil, commercial, and regulatory laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaison with internal stakeholders and external legal consultants to efficiently manage court cases and complaints.
  • Drafting and responding to legal notices, as well as preparing other legal documents.
  • Reporting on cases and litigious matters through regular updates.
  • Coordinating with peer departments and external counsels for smooth information sharing.
  • Providing legal advice and assistance to internal departments on matters related to statute interpretation, regulations, and agreements.
  • Supporting in regulatory matters for Corporate Regulatory Affairs and coordinating with regulatory bodies.
  • Handling litigation portals and interacting with Group Legal for important matters.
  • Providing legal advice on contract-related matters and various commercial projects.

Requirements:

  • Experience in independently handling court cases at various legal forums, including High Courts, Labour courts, and Regulatory authorities.
  • Strong drafting and analytical skills, with the ability to prepare applications and respond to legal notices.
  • Knowledge of laws in Pakistan, particularly telecom, fintech, media, entertainment, and insurance laws.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in Regulatory and Corporate Litigation, with a Bar at Law/LLM/LLB Degree.
