Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing tax-related compliances and tax operations under the laws, including support to tax litigations.

The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of telecom-related tax experience and possess a strong knowledge of income tax, FED, sales tax, and provincial sales tax on services laws for compliance and related reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of Income tax and FED/Sales tax payments & timely deposit
  • Arranging information, coordination with external counsel for preparation and filing of Annual Income Tax Return and related refund application for processing
  • Assistance to team over information/documents for response to tax notices, smooth conduction of tax audits, representing the company over the tax matters and managing tax litigations
  • Coordination with legal department/external counsel over provision of related documents, filing of appeals, stay applications and reference before the respective forums
  • Managing booking of tax liabilities as per Finance month end, tax accounting and CMCC/group reporting and defining tax groups in ERP
  • Preparation of reconciliation of tax ledgers & related reports
  • Development of tax-related reports and refinement of processes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
  • MBA/part qualified CA, ICMA, ACCA
  • At least 5 years telecom-related tax experience
