We seek a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. As a key player, you will be responsible for evangelising data and methodologies to functional analysts and stakeholders. This role requires close interaction with teams in marketing, sales, finance, and product in a high-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Construct and manipulate large datasets using SQL, Python and similar tools to support planned analyses.
  2. Design and develop business intelligence dashboards using Sisense or similar tools for various organisational metrics and indicators.
  3. Define KPIs, metrics and drive data governance through standardisation and communication.
  4. Extract data and share it with stakeholders using dashboards/reports or Google Sheets.

You will work under the supervision of senior staff, creating documentation and presentations for management, while also developing analysis and reporting capabilities.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, business/economics or related field.
  • 1+ year work experience in analytics, having closely worked with product and commercials in an internet/e-commerce company.
  • Experience in e-commerce, internet and/or digital media.
  • Basic proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel.
  • Skills in Python, R or similar tools are beneficial.
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc).
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to translate data and information into actionable insights and business recommendations.
  • Written and verbal proficiency in English.
