PHP Technical Lead

We are looking for a talented PHP Technical Lead to join our team. The successful candidate should have extensive experience in PHP development, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

About the Role
  • This is a technical leadership position requiring experience in PHP development, team management and Agile methodologies.
  • You will be responsible for understanding requirements/design specifications/solutions and implementing them.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, implement and maintain new PHP web applications, adhering to coding standards.
  • Understand and apply SDLC principles when working with or leading a large development team.
  • Experience with MySQL, designing complex queries for high-end databases.
  • Strong knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS and jQuery.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle technical challenges.
Requirements
  • More than 4 years of experience in the development area.
  • Capability of leading the team effectively and getting the work done as per client requirements in a timely manner.
  • Strong knowledge of PHP, JavaScript and SQL.
  • Solid concept of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
  • Experience with major PHP frameworks (CodeIgniter, Zend).
  • Strong CMS experience with commercial and open-source systems like Joomla, OpenCart, Drupal, WordPress, Zen Cart, etc.
  • Experience in an Agile development environment, mainly SCRUM and Test Driven Development (TDD).
