Job Summary

As a Data Officer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining data records with high accuracy. This role involves working with electronic medical records and other data sheets to ensure that data is complete, accurate, and appropriately filed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in training programs to enhance knowledge of procedures and standards.
  • Regularly review data to guarantee its completeness and accuracy.
  • Maintain proper labelling, storage, and organization of files and documents to minimize loss or deterioration.
  • Enter data accurately and make necessary corrections to resolve queries.
  • Evaluate the quantity and version of printed documents to ensure their availability.
  • Document the resolution of data-related queries.
  • Support planning and implementation of refresher training to improve data quality.
  • Perform additional tasks as agreed upon with the line manager.
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Intermediate or Bachelors degree in Social Sciences/Computer Science or related field.
  • Certificate in Information Technology advantageous.
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant experience preferably in healthcare or hospital settings.

  • Data validation and analysis skills.
  • Self-motivated and fast learner.
  • Able to comprehend instructions and disseminate them to team members.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
