Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a candidate to fill a key role within our expanding business. The successful applicant will be working in a busy finance department, responsible for assisting the credit control function by undertaking query resolution, debt chasing, answering emails and phone calls.

What you'll be doing:

  • Dealing with daily correspondence received efficiently
  • Processing invoices with correct purchase order numbers within agreed timeframes
  • Maintaining confidentiality at all times and using discretion where necessary
  • Ensuring invoices are produced to meet client requirements with relevant information
  • Making and receiving phone calls
  • Providing cover for the department when required
  • General adhoc duties
  • Issuing statements and reminder letters in accordance with company credit control procedure
  • Collections of debt within agreed payment terms
  • Liaising with departments to resolve queries
