Placement Director

We are seeking an experienced Recruitment and Placement Manager to lead our overseas placement promotional activities.

1. Develop, organise and participate in overseas placement promotional activities to attract top talent.
2. Liaise with overseas agents to facilitate the overseas applications process, ensuring seamless communication and timely updates.
3. Maintain accurate records of overseas reference documents related to the United States, Canada, Europe, and the Middle East, providing expert advice and recommendations to staff and lecturers.
4. Provide comprehensive information on salary packages, allowances, taxes, accommodation, and travel to potential clients, highlighting the benefits of working with our organisation.
5. Offer professional support and guidance on recruitment best practices to line and departmental managers, helping them make informed decisions.
6. Advise managers on effective recruitment strategies and selection processes, ensuring a high-quality candidate pool.
7. Prepare job descriptions and person specifications, crafting compelling narratives that showcase the value proposition of each role.
8. Write engaging job advertisements and decide on the most effective channels for promotion, leveraging social media and job boards to reach a wider audience.
9. Design or revise application forms, including developing online processes, to simplify the candidate experience and streamline the hiring process.
10. Develop creative recruitment solutions if the organisation is experiencing difficulties in attracting the right level and quality of staff, thinking outside the box to find innovative solutions.
11. Screen application forms and shortlist candidates, evaluating their qualifications and potential fit for the role.
12. Devising, running, and evaluating selection processes, including interviews, psychometric tests, personality questionnaires, and group activities, to assess candidate skills and behaviours.
13. Stay up-to-date with current employment legislation and ensure that line managers are effectively briefed on any relevant changes, ensuring compliance and minimising risk.
14. Run selection centres for graduate recruitment and more senior vacancies, providing a comprehensive assessment of candidate abilities.
