We are seeking an experienced Recruitment and Placement Manager to lead our overseas placement promotional activities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, organise and participate in overseas placement promotional activities to attract top talent.
- Liaise with overseas agents to facilitate the overseas applications process, ensuring seamless communication and timely updates.
- Maintain accurate records of overseas reference documents related to the United States, Canada, Europe, and the Middle East, providing expert advice and recommendations to staff and lecturers.
- Provide comprehensive information on salary packages, allowances, taxes, accommodation, and travel to potential clients, highlighting the benefits of working with our organisation.
- Offer professional support and guidance on recruitment best practices to line and departmental managers, helping them make informed decisions.
- Advise managers on effective recruitment strategies and selection processes, ensuring a high-quality candidate pool.
- Prepare job descriptions and person specifications, crafting compelling narratives that showcase the value proposition of each role.
- Write engaging job advertisements and decide on the most effective channels for promotion, leveraging social media and job boards to reach a wider audience.
- Design or revise application forms, including developing online processes, to simplify the candidate experience and streamline the hiring process.
- Develop creative recruitment solutions if the organisation is experiencing difficulties in attracting the right level and quality of staff, thinking outside the box to find innovative solutions.
- Screen application forms and shortlist candidates, evaluating their qualifications and potential fit for the role.
- Devising, running, and evaluating selection processes, including interviews, psychometric tests, personality questionnaires, and group activities, to assess candidate skills and behaviours.
- Stay up-to-date with current employment legislation and ensure that line managers are effectively briefed on any relevant changes, ensuring compliance and minimising risk.
- Run selection centres for graduate recruitment and more senior vacancies, providing a comprehensive assessment of candidate abilities.
