About Data Engineering Role

Our organization requires a skilled data engineer to design, build, test, optimize, and maintain infrastructure and code for data integration, storage, processing, pipelines, and analytics. The ideal candidate will implement data flow controls, ensure high data quality and accessibility for analytics and business intelligence purposes.


The selected individual will lead the work in Data & Analytics, contributing to backlog definition, architecture decisions, and guiding technical teams with minimal oversight.


This is an exciting opportunity for someone who can quickly ramp up and take charge of data engineering efforts.



Data Engineering Responsibilities
  • Design scalable and efficient data architectures, defining and maintaining standards and best practices for data management.
  • Evaluate and improve data system scalability, reliability, quality, and performance.
  • Mentor junior/mid-level data engineers to enhance their skills.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and develop solutions.


Data Engineering Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of real-world data engineering experience in AWS and GCP with expertise in Python, SQL, PySpark, and AWS.
  • Strong programming skills and ability to design end-to-end solutions.
  • Familiarity with SDLC tools and technologies.
  • Good understanding of data modeling, database design principles, and data governance.
  • Experience working with complex data sets and implementing data pipelines and ELT/ETL processes.
  • Expertise in cloud computing, particularly AWS.
