Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager to lead our project management efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and closing projects that exceed client expectations on time.

Main Responsibilities
  • The ideal candidate will have experience with all stages of the project lifecycle, from inception through monitoring and closing.
  • They must be proficient in requirement gathering, defining scopes, resource allocation, and establishing schedules that meet or exceed project demands.
  • Attending client meetings and assisting with determining project requirements is also a key responsibility.
  • The Assistant Manager will chair site meetings, distribute minutes to team members, and effectively communicate project information to stakeholders.
  • They will track progress and quality of work performed by internal departments and use project management tools to monitor plans, work hours, and schedules.
  • Ensuring clients' needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner is critical to success.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of core project management experience is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with certification in Agile or PMI, is highly desirable.
  • The ideal candidate must be able to work in the Eastern Time Zone and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is necessary, as well as experience with collaboration and documentation tools like Confluence.
  • A Scrum certification, such as CSM, PSM, or PMI, is also preferred.
