Job Description

The role of a Security and Administrative Officer involves overseeing the security staff at a plant, ensuring that they are properly trained and equipped to handle any situation. The officer will also be responsible for supervising administrative staff, including fire-fighting staff, janitorial/sanitation/horticulture/guarding staff, and monitoring drills. Additionally, they will ensure timely reporting of maintenance jobs, follow up on their completion, check and monitor patrolling squads regularly, and intimate the Crisis Management Committee about any mishaps.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administrative Initiative: Lead and supervise admin staff, fire-fighting staff, janitorial/sanitation/horticulture/guarding staff, and monitor drills.
  • Organizational Effectiveness & Development: Extend cooperation and ensure Security & Admin support in implementing structural improvements and functional reorganization to achieve business strategy and organization.
  • Security Operations: Work closely with Security & Admin staff to ensure timely delivery of security reports and take action/resolve issues/queries etc.
  • Administrative Control & Affairs: Supervise traffic arrangement at Plant, take appropriate rounds on daily basis, check logbooks placed at all gates, discuss with Manager Admin Services & Security/Plant Manager, and ensure duty roster is managed to curtail Over Time working.
  • Cultural Transformation: Represent Security & Admin department on various local, regional, and corporate platforms and act as liaison to ensure company values are well embedded at Plant site.
Requirements:
  • Degree: F.A preferable Graduate.
  • Work experience: Ex-Army or Police Officer as Commanding Officer.
  • English fluency, both written and spoken.
  • Preferably - Training on counter-terrorism from CTD - Punjab Police or Pak Army.
  • Knowledge of Implementation & Monitoring of Integrated Management System.
