We're seeking a skilled professional to join our team in a management role focused on settlement operations.

This position requires someone with experience in managing client funds, negotiating settlements, and overseeing documents.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

A key aspect of this role is flexibility, as we offer remote and/or on-location employment options. Our standard working hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

This position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer, ensuring seamless integration into our financial operations.

Please note that this is not an entry-level position; applicants should have at least one year of relevant experience.

We value candidates who possess knowledge of personal injury claims, insurance, and medical billing. Proficiency in spreadsheet software is also essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:
  • Gathering and maintaining accurate data and documents.
  • Corresponding with clients, insurance companies, and other stakeholders.
  • Negotiating settlements with lien holders and medical providers.
  • Identifying and understanding various types of liens from emergency medical treatment, hospitals, ambulances, collection agencies, chiropractors, and medical doctors.
  • Communicating effectively with clients and creditors via phone and email.
  • Securing final lien amounts from Medicare/Medicaid.
  • Understanding and handling subrogation processes.
  • Closing statements and disbursal packets preparation.
  • Client meetings for settlement disbursements and review purposes.
Qualifications:
  • At least one year of relevant experience.
  • Detailed knowledge of personal injury claims, insurance, and medical billing.
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet software.
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology.
  • Prioritization and organization skills.
  • Professionalism and a polished telephone manner.
  • Bonus point if you speak Spanish fluently.
