Job Summary

This role is responsible for providing information and guidance to prospective students regarding admission requirements, application procedures, and available academic programs.

  1. Ensure that all admission applications are completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner.
  2. Conduct career assessments and provide personalized recommendations to help students explore potential career paths.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with academic departments and other stakeholders to promote the university's programs.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to plan and execute recruitment events, college fairs, and high school visits.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and evaluate application materials to ensure completeness and accuracy before submission to the admissions office.
  • Provide information about various career options, job market trends, and employment opportunities relevant to different academic disciplines.
  • Develop marketing materials, presentations, and informational resources to showcase the university's academic offerings and student support services.
Qualifications and Requirements
  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field such as education, counseling, or social work.
  2. Previous experience in college admissions, career counseling, or student advising preferred.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with students from diverse backgrounds.
  4. Knowledge of educational pathways, academic programs, and career development resources.
