Steel Manufacturing Operations Manager

The General Manager Steel Plant position requires a seasoned professional with expertise in steel manufacturing and leadership skills to manage large-scale plant operations. As a key member of the management team, you will oversee the production process, ensure quality and safety, and drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Develop strategies to improve production processes, reduce costs, and enhance product quality. Analyze KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team. Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous learning.
- Production Planning: Collaborate with planning and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate production scheduling. Manage inventory levels to meet customer demands.
- Quality Control: Implement and maintain rigorous quality control standards. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Safety and Compliance: Promote a safe working environment and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations. Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.
- Financial Management: Develop and manage the plant's budget, ensuring cost-effective operations. Monitor and control operational expenses.
- Maintenance and Equipment: Oversee the maintenance and repair of plant equipment to minimize downtime. Ensure that all machinery and equipment are operating at peak efficiency.
Requirements:
20 years of experience or 15+ years of experience with Bachelor in Engineering (Electrical, Metallurgy)
