Key Responsibilities
  • We require an individual with excellent transcription skills to accurately capture dictated notes from various sources.
  • The successful candidate will review and edit transcribed reports for spelling, grammar, clarity, consistency, and proper medical terminology.
  • They will return dictated reports in printed or electronic form for physicians' review, signature, and corrections.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and providing feedback on dictation quality are also essential aspects of this role.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field is necessary for this position.
  • Previous experience or one year of in-house training is required, as is proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication skills and a typing speed of at least 40 words per minute are also essential.
  • The ability to operate transcription equipment and work effectively in teams is highly valued.
