Are you a skilled professional with expertise in elevator installation, maintenance, and repair? We are seeking an experienced Elevator Technician to join our team.

About the Role:
This is a challenging position that demands a strong understanding of both electrical and mechanical systems. As an Elevator Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing elevators, escalators, and moving walkways. You will also conduct routine inspections to ensure proper functioning of equipment, diagnose electrical and mechanical faults using testing equipment, and perform preventive maintenance and repair work to avoid system failures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair elevators, escalators, and moving walkways.
  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure proper functioning of equipment.
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults using testing equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repair work to avoid system failures.
  • Ensure compliance with safety codes and government regulations.
  • Collaborate with the team to resolve any complex technical issues.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical documents.
  • Maintain detailed service records for each project.
  • Provide emergency repairs as needed.

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should have a minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in elevator installation, maintenance, or repair. A strong background in both electrical and mechanical systems is essential. Experience with a variety of elevator brands and models is a plus. You should also have a valid driver's license and be physically fit to work at heights or in confined spaces.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing both electrical and mechanical components.
  • Strong understanding of control systems, motors, drives, and power supply systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and electrical drawings.
  • Good knowledge of safety protocols and industry standards (OSHA, EN 81, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
