Director of Student Affairs

Job Description:

This is a critical position that requires an individual with exceptional leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage student affairs at various levels.

The Director of Student Affairs will be responsible for coordinating and implementing programs that promote student engagement, retention, and academic success. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of student development theory and be able to design and implement initiatives that meet the diverse needs of students.

Responsibilities include preparing semester and annual schedules of non-academic activities on campus, supervising campus events and co-curricular activities, maintaining records and tracking students' non-academic profiles, coordinating the availability of funds and other requirements for SSC activities, processing all correspondence through the directorate regarding SSC matters, and liaising with BU Alumni for social and official events.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Higher Education Administration or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managing student affairs at the university level
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
