This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, design, marketing, and analytics, to build cutting-edge features that drive significant growth across all customer-facing websites and mobile apps.

As a key member of our team, you will partner in owning front-end architecture and contribute to designing/maintaining the day-to-day front-end development roadmap.

We are looking for a talented individual who understands all front-end touchpoints of our website and can assist in designing, maintaining technology design and architecture of front-end solutions.

This position also requires overseeing other front-end developers to ensure code written is maintained and in accordance with engineering standards.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute the design, development, and deployment of high-impact features for our web storefront
  • Analyze, Design and Implement high-priority SEO enhancements to increase Natural Search Traffic
  • Build scalable and performant solutions primarily within the front-end that drive business growth and improve digital penetration
  • Mentor and develop team members by setting best practices for architecture, coding, delivery, and operations
  • Foster collaboration across engineering pods and teams to create reusable, scalable solutions, contributing to architecture blueprints that benefit the entire organization
  • Partner with key stakeholders in product, design, infrastructure, marketing, and project management to make data-driven decisions and optimize performance
  • Contribute to the technical and strategic vision of Customer Experience Engineering pods, identifying and implementing new technologies to enhance security, scalability, reliability, and performance
  • Collaborate with backend and quality engineers to deliver high-quality code that powers our platforms
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by actively participating in sprint ceremonies and process refinement
  • Assist in creating and developing architecture for entire platforms as well as specific functions/projects that involve front-end technologies
  • Approve and publish code to production environments
  • Set and maintain front-end architecture standards
  • Monitor site performance and suggest improvements
  • Validate interaction designs, suggest maintainable ways of doing things
  • Ensure our front-end implementation scales to our needs
  • Mentor, coach, and support other developers regardless of affiliation
  • Maintain documentation and architecture diagrams related to our current state of Front-end architecture
