Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled software developer to join our team. As a developer, you will be working on the backend of our product Lucidya, utilizing industry-leading technologies such as Redis, Postgres, and Cassandra to analyze content from multiple data sources.

Your primary responsibilities will include designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and improving software, particularly backend systems and databases. Additionally, you will be responsible for DevOps tasks, including server setup, maintenance, and recovery.

You will work closely with the Engineering Manager in an agile environment and contribute to the growth of our product through interviewing, on-boarding, or other recruitment efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Rapidly develop scalable, flexible, and high-performance systems
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software (backend and databases)
  • Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
  • Contribute to the growth of our product through interviewing, on-boarding, or other recruitment efforts
Requirements
  • BA/BS or Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience
  • +3 years of experience
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and noSQL databases
  • Fluency in Python and Ruby on Rails
  • Knowledge in Web servers and code repositories
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines
