Health and Safety Professional

A vital role in safeguarding team members, facilities, and customers is essential for the success of any organization.

This includes conducting regular audits to identify potential hazards and developing strategies to mitigate risks.

Responsibilities
  • Audit Production Processes: Ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards by auditing production processes.
  • Risk Assessments: Conduct risk assessments to identify potential safety hazards and develop plans to address them effectively.
  • Safety Data Analysis: Create analytical reports on safety data to inform decision-making and drive business improvements.
  • Equipment Inspection: Inspect equipment and processes to ensure they are safe and compliant with regulations.
  • Procedure Development: Develop and implement procedures for employee training and maintenance of equipment to ensure a culture of safety within the organization.
  • Training and Presentations: Promote a culture of safety through presentations and training sessions to engage employees and stakeholders.
  • Continuing Education: Stay up-to-date with the latest health and safety protocols and techniques through ongoing education and training.
  • Product Safety: Determine whether products are safe for customers and develop safety plans to improve existing infrastructure and business processes.
  • Sharing Information: Share information and observations with project leadership to maintain consistency in safety standards.
  • Accident Investigation: Meet company health and safety goals by investigating accidents, reviewing staff compliance, and recommending improvements.
Requirements
  • Independence and Self-Starter: Work independently and demonstrate ability to understand and develop processes.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with employees, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Maturity and Flexibility: Ability to work in a high-matrixed organization and find paths forward that lead to results.
  • ISO Familiarity: Familiarity with ISO 9001 and 4001 standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
