Provides leadership and direction for the Supply Chain and Franchise Operations Occupational Health and Safety Management, supervising the Senior Safety Manager. Translates Global Coca-Cola Company priorities and direction to ensure employee safety, contributing to bottlers' safety strategies and overseeing their implementation.
The role has significant influence and interaction with all bottlers' safety and supply chain functions, as well as with corporate and other Operating Units (OU) safety teams. This position executes and supports OU activities related to safety target setting and alignment across Eurasia Middle East OU territories, leading activities for their implementation in line with Coca-Cola Company commitments. Manages safety reporting activities from bottling operations and OU to corporate, ensuring accuracy and timely execution. Supports OU decision-making on innovation pipeline safety risk assessments in collaboration with the Senior Safety Manager. Develops, maintains, and executes OU governance in Occupational Health and Safety.
- Supports the long-term OU Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) vision, drives engagement with system partners, and leads OU safety planning to achieve goals.
- Ensures the progress of safety systems and programs, promoting best-in-class leadership through partnership, governance, and innovation across B4L supply chains.
- Implements the Zero Harm Safety Strategy across OU territories with all programs.
- Deploys OU RTM Strategy across all territories.
- Ensures KORE safety requirements and OU governance are aligned with global framework requirements.
- Communicates and trains bottling operations on OU safety requirements; supports and validates their effective implementation. Develops and maintains OU health & safety requirements within the OU QSE Governance model.
- Tracks safety accomplishment metrics from corporate audits and ISO 45001 management systems.
- Supports Safety & Health Incident Management and Crisis Resolution (IMCR) at OU level, ensuring lessons learned are captured proactively across the global safety network.
- Communicates and implements Coca-Cola Company global safety programs in operations.
- Develops a plan based on organizational capability and route-to-market strategies (RTM) with stakeholders.
- Aligns and implements globally agreed metrics to monitor safety performance.
- Establishes routines for performance review of safety KPIs at OU and local levels.
- Develops and supports implementation of safety improvement plans at OU and local levels.
- Creates solutions for safety data management and reporting.
- Contributes to defining OU/regional safety governance and drives partner and business development initiatives.
- Leads the occupational safety and health culture transformation, embedding excellence as a core value across the system, together with the Senior Safety Manager.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food, Chemical, Environmental, Safety Engineering, Food Science, Biochemistry, or related fields.
- Preferred: Advanced Degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or Safety Engineering.
- At least 5 years in manufacturing in oil/chemical, pharmaceutical, or FMCG sectors.
- Over 5 years of direct safety management experience, including managerial roles in field facilities or Q/S/E governance teams.
- Experience in beverage industry, packaging, or ingredient manufacturing with knowledge of relevant quality and safety aspects.
