Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic professional to contribute to and develop integrated marketing campaigns.

  1. Developing strategic marketing plans

This varied role offers the opportunity to work in both private and public sectors across finance, retail, media, and charitable organisations.

The specific nature of your responsibilities will depend on the organisation's size and sector, as well as the focus on selling a product or service, or raising awareness of an issue affecting the public.

Much like marketing officers or coordinators, you will be instrumental in shaping brand awareness and customer relationships.

Main Responsibilities

As a sales & marketing professional, you will need to:

  1. Drive brand awareness through various marketing initiatives
  2. Build and maintain relationships with target audiences
  3. Support the development of marketing plans, advertising, direct marketing, and campaigns
  4. Liaise closely with internal teams and external agencies to design marketing materials
  5. Produce high-quality marketing content for online and print channels
  6. Manage social media platforms to enhance audience engagement
  7. Organise and participate in industry events, conferences, seminars, receptions, and exhibitions
  8. Foster partnerships and secure sponsorships
  9. Oversee the effective distribution of marketing materials
  10. Maintain and update customer databases
  11. Conduct market research, including customer questionnaires and focus groups
  12. Nurture relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally.

In time, you will take on more advanced responsibilities, such as:

  1. Developing comprehensive marketing strategies as part of broader sales and marketing programs
  2. Evaluating and refining marketing campaigns to ensure optimal mediums and effectiveness
  3. Monitoring and reporting on marketing performance, return on investment, and competitor activity
  4. Leading external partners to successfully manage events, press relations, editorial requests, presentations, promotional materials, and online activities
  5. Oversight of marketing budgets.
