Job Title: IT Infrastructure Manager - Infrastructure Operations

About the Team:

We are a dynamic team of IT professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional IT services to our organization. As an IT Infrastructure Manager - Infrastructure Operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, from designing and implementing new systems to troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.

Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the day-to-day management of our IT infrastructure, ensuring that all systems are running efficiently and securely. This includes managing and optimizing VMware environments, administering Microsoft Exchange Server, maintaining Linux-based systems, and leading network administration efforts.

In addition, you will be responsible for implementing and monitoring security measures to safeguard our IT infrastructure, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to hardware, software, and networking, and leading IT projects such as system upgrades, infrastructure expansion, and technology integration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of IT infrastructure, ensuring systems are running efficiently and securely.
  • Manage and optimize VMware environments, including virtual servers and storage.
  • Administer and maintain Microsoft Exchange Server for efficient email and communication systems.
  • Maintain and configure Linux-based systems to ensure seamless operation.
  • Lead network administration efforts, ensuring secure and stable connections across all locations.
  • Implement and monitor security measures to safeguard IT infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and networking.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong hands-on experience with VMware, Microsoft Exchange Server, and Linux operating systems.
  • Proven expertise in network administration, including firewalls, switches, routers, and VPNs.
  • Knowledge of security protocols and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Microsoft Certified: Exchange Server, Linux Professional Institute Certification (LPIC), or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
  • Experience in cloud infrastructure and virtualization technologies.
  • Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
