Social Media Specialist Role

We are looking for a skilled Social Media Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of how each social media channel works and be able to optimize content to engage with our audience.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and executing a social media strategy, generating daily content, setting up and optimizing company pages, moderating user-generated content, creating editorial calendars, and analyzing social data.

To succeed in this role, you will need proven working experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist, excellent consulting, writing, editing, presentation, and communication skills, demonstrable social networking experience, knowledge of web design, web development, CRO, SEO, online marketing, and major marketing channels.

You will also need a positive attitude, detail-oriented approach, customer service skills, good multitasking and organisational ability, and fluency in English.

  • Build and execute a social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification.
  • Generate, edit, publish, and share daily content that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action.
  • Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of our social content.
  • Moderate all user-generated content in line with our moderation policy for each community.
  • Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules.
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best practices, and then acting on the information.
  • Collaborate with other departments to manage reputation, identify key players, and coordinate actions.
