Test Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the high-quality delivery of our software.

About the Role
  • You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing tests to validate application functionality, performance, and security.
  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues, ensuring that we deliver software that meets our clients' needs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive Testing: Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases based on functional and technical requirements.
  • Manual and Automated Testing: Execute manual and automated tests to validate application functionality, performance, and security.
  • Defect Identification and Tracking: Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Automated Testing Frameworks: Design and implement automated testing frameworks and scripts to improve efficiency and coverage.
  • Performance and Load Testing: Conduct performance and load testing to ensure the application can handle expected user loads.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to understand requirements and provide feedback on software usability.
  • Process Improvement: Participate in retrospectives and contribute to process improvements to enhance the overall quality of the software.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on both manual and automated testing.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in testing methodologies and best practices.
    • Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG) and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
    • Familiarity with programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, or Python for writing test scripts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively report issues and collaborate with team members.
