About Our Role

We seek a seasoned Communications Strategist, Pakistan to spearhead our national communications efforts and advance education advocacy in the country.

This critical role will collaborate with global teams to develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy, aligning with global policy priorities and messaging guidelines. The ideal candidate is a skilled communications expert with a deep understanding of the political and media landscape in Pakistan.

The successful Communications Strategist, Pakistan will:

  • Leverage Strategic Communications: Develop target audience profiles, create compelling messaging and briefs, and leverage media monitoring and social analytics tools to track progress.
  • Maintain Brand Consistency: Collaborate with global teams to apply global brand guidelines and ensure consistency across our communications channels.
  • Pitch Stories and Manage Crisis: Secure media coverage by pitching stories to journalists, manage crisis communications, and reputation management strategies.
  • Showcase Impact: Curate external content such as photos, videos, stories, and quotes from grantees to showcase the impact of our work.
Requirements

We are seeking a dynamic leader with 7-10 years of experience building and executing communications strategies. You should have a robust network of active media relationships, exceptional editorial and creative copywriting skills, and ability to develop compelling multimedia content.
