We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our commercial law team.

Job Description

As a Commercial Counsel Manager, you will be responsible for drafting and vetting various commercial agreements. This includes managing litigation, both in-house and through external counsel, as well as representing the company before relevant courts.

You will assist the Finance Director with statutory returns and coordinate with directors and stakeholders to arrange necessary documentation. Additionally, you will manage the company's contracts database, liaise with the accounts team to process invoices, and maintain updated legal records.

Responsibilities also include overseeing legal administrative functions, such as document archiving, meeting room bookings, and filing. You will manage relationships with external counsel and law firms, advise management on industrial relations matters, and assist with intellectual property cases.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A strong background in commercial law, preferably with experience in manufacturing industries.
  • An LLB degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Training at a reputable law firm and in-house experience.
  • Minimum 7-8 years of relevant experience.
