Fundamental Financial Specialist
Job Description- We are seeking an ambitious and skilled professional to fill the role of Fundamental Financial Specialist. This individual will play a pivotal part in our team, responsible for managing financial resources effectively, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and providing valuable support to senior management.
- Financial Management
- Evaluate and implement cost-saving strategies
- Manage budgets and forecasts for allocated projects
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Financial Reporting
- Prepare and review financial reports and statements
- Identify and address audit issues
- Knowledge Sharing
- Provide training and guidance on financial management best practices
- Contribute to knowledge networks and communities of practice
- A professional accounting qualification from an internationally accredited institute of accountancy, or advanced university degree in finance and/or accounting is required.
- Candidates must have at least two years of relevant professional experience in providing financial management services, managing staff and operational systems.
- Experience with IPSAS and/or IFRS is required for external candidates.
- Fluency in English and Urdu is required.
