Key Responsibilities:
  • To promote high standards of evidence-based learning and teaching, focusing on school improvement and student success.
  • To recruit, develop, and retain the best teachers in the school by implementing effective recruitment strategies.
  • To cultivate a culture of mutual respect, collaboration, and continuous learning within the school community.
Academic Duties:
  • To select quality teachers through a rigorous recruitment process that includes thorough interviews and assessments.
  • To develop and implement a comprehensive school improvement plan based on need analysis and research.
  • To monitor classroom quality through lesson planners, observations, and feedback sessions with teachers.
  • To enhance teacher quality through demonstration sessions, training programs, and performance evaluations.
  • To track student performance by reviewing assignments, test papers, and progress reports.
  • To organize and manage co-curricular activities, timetables, assemblies, and academic resources effectively.
  • To attend training sessions and provide on-the-job training for faculty members.
  • To conduct term tests and examinations in a transparent and timely manner, ensuring fairness and accuracy.
  • To foster team spirit and motivate teachers to improve their practice through coaching and mentoring.
Administrative Tasks:
  • To establish strong relationships with the local community and promote education for both boys and girls.
  • To maintain an optimal student enrollment through effective marketing strategies and outreach programs.
  • To ensure that teachers are effectively utilized and maintain an up-to-date CV bank for future recruitment needs.
  • To collaborate with HR teams for staff hiring, retention, and performance management.
  • To oversee school discipline and character building of students and staff.
  • To manage staff leaves and attendance to minimize empty classrooms.
  • To supervise the administration assistant in accounts and other matters.
  • To maintain accurate records of school finances and ensure they are up to date.
  • To oversee building maintenance and utility services.
  • To coordinate with the supervisor on board-related matters.
  • To understand and implement policies as necessary.
  • To submit reports and documents in a timely manner.

This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education and committed to improving student outcomes.
