We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our team. As a Lead Web Developer - Backend, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance systems. You will lead the design and implementation of backend services, ensuring robust architecture and adherence to best practices. Your responsibilities will include architecting and designing scalable, modular systems, defining and implementing system-level components, developing and maintaining RESTful and WebSocket APIs, and implementing data processing, validation, and business logic layers. Additionally, you will design and manage cloud infrastructure, implement deployment pipelines, ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability of services, design and manage relational and non-relational databases, optimize database queries, and manage data modeling. You will also implement security best practices, including data encryption and secure API communication. To succeed in this role, you should have a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent, minimum 7 years of experience in backend development, proficiency in Node.js and its frameworks, strong understanding of API design principles, proficiency in relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB), expertise in database optimization and indexing, hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure, strong knowledge of OAuth 2.0, JWTs, and encryption protocols, experience with real-time data handling protocols, and proficiency with unit testing, integration testing, and debugging tools. You should also possess strong leadership and mentoring skills, effective communication to translate technical concepts, and adaptability to work on multiple projects and domains.
