Electrical Superintendent Job Opportunity

The position of Electrical Superintendent is open to a highly skilled and experienced professional who can effectively supervise daily electrical site operations, ensuring work is carried out safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily electrical site operations, focusing on safe and efficient execution of tasks.
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of electrical subcontractors and technicians, guaranteeing effective collaboration.
  • Ensure compliance with project quality standards, safety policies, and environmental regulations, maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Review and interpret electrical drawings, plans, and technical documentation, providing accurate insights.
  • Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment, ensuring seamless operation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime, showcasing problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, inspections, and testing, facilitating smooth decision-making.
Key Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including HV, MV, and LV equipment, coupled with practical experience.
  • Proven experience managing electrical teams and supervising site electrical activities, demonstrating leadership capabilities.
  • Familiarity with electrical safety standards, QA/QC procedures, and HSE regulations, ensuring adherence to industry norms.
  • Ability to interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation, showcasing analytical skills.
  • Skilled in coordinating with contractors, engineers, and project managers, fostering effective communication.

  • Experience in equipment inspections, testing, and commissioning, highlighting versatility.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, essential for success.

Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field, emphasizing academic excellence.

Years of Experience: 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in mining or heavy industries, highlighting extensive expertise.
