Job Summary:
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure the quality of solar systems installations.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Quality Assurance/Quality Control audits and experience in the Wind/Solar or Renewable Energy Industry. They should also possess strong inspection requirements skills in at least one discipline (electrical, etc).
Key Responsibilities:
- Familiarize yourself with design drawings, specifications, installation guides, and standard work instructions to ensure compliance during inspections.
- Perform 100% inspections on work completed within the scope of work assigned.
- Inspect equipment and materials for quality and document results accordingly.
- Review and document inspection results with site management to assign corrective actions for non-compliance.
- Audit and inspect sites regularly to ensure adherence to project specifications.
- Collaborate with the site management team to complete inspections and gather necessary documentation.
Requirements:
- Proven industrial experience performing Quality Assurance/Quality Control audits in large industrial/mechanical construction projects.
- Preferred experience in the Wind/Solar or Renewable Energy Industry.
- Demonstrated ability in inspection requirements in at least one discipline (electrical, etc).
- Strong understanding of safety and environmental protocols.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Maintaining accurate records and report writing skills.
