Sr Staff, Strategy and Business Operations.

About the Job Description:

This role plays a pivotal part in the execution and operationalization of the enterprise data and AI strategy. The Sr. Staff member will work closely with functional leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution and desired business impact of AI and data initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:

The Sr. Staff, Strategy and Business Operations will be responsible for:

Strategy Execution and Alignment:

  • Supporting prioritization of business impact areas through collaboration with engineering, AI, analytics, and product teams.
  • Ensuring strategy alignment between data and AI initiatives and business objectives through collaboration with technology teams.

Project Prioritization and Governance:

  • Supporting senior leadership in tracking and prioritizing data and AI initiatives.
  • Establishing project governance frameworks to ensure AI and data initiatives stay within scope, budget, and timeline.

Performance Management and Metrics:

  • Tracking and analyzing performance metrics to measure the success of data and AI initiatives.
  • Supporting the development of balanced scorecards to monitor key KPIs and operational success.

Operational Support for Cross-Functional Teams:

  • Acting as a key point of contact for various operational teams to ensure alignment on business needs and AI integration.
  • Managing relationships with vendors and third-party service providers to ensure operational efficiency and delivery.

Change Management and Adoption:

  • Supporting change management activities to ensure smooth adoption of AI solutions and new business processes.
  • Facilitating training sessions for operational teams to enhance their understanding of AI tools and data-driven processes.

Requirements:

  • At least 12 years of experience in business operations, data management, or AI project governance.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across teams to drive operational success.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies and data platforms.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with business process management and performance tracking.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
