WordPress Backend Developer Position

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced WordPress Backend Developer to join our team. As a key member of the organization, you will play a crucial role in the successful launch of websites and applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing custom WordPress themes and plugins using best practices
  • Working knowledge of CORE PHP/MySQL
  • Create well-structured WordPress custom themes and plugins
  • Conduct website performance tests
  • Maintain the appearance and updates of websites
  • Troubleshoot content issues
  • Create WordPress plugins to support site functionality and integrations
  • Optimize websites for mobile users
  • Proficiency in customizing, developing, and integrating WordPress backend & themes
  • Good understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Ajax
  • Ability to create e-commerce websites using WooCommerce is a plus
Requirements:
  • Experience in writing clean, well-designed code and strong OOP Concepts
  • Experience with JavaScript, WordPress, Gutenberg, HTML, CSS, and SASS
  • Evaluating code to ensure it meets industry standards and compatibility
  • Maintaining knowledge of latest web applications and practices
  • Analyzing technical requirements to determine user needs
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Collaborate with team members to improve web application functionality
