Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated educator to join our team. As an exceptional instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet annual targets assigned by the Head of Department (HOD) and contribute to securing a top-notch teaching and learning environment for students.
  • Work towards faculty-set targets to ensure excellent academic outcomes.
  • Teach assigned courses in accordance with faculty workload policy.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development and contribute to the planning of teaching programs.
  • Incorporate innovative teaching strategies and facilitate experiential learning during lessons.
  • Foster critical thinking, encourage debate, and develop students' ability to engage in rational discourse.
  • Supervise student projects, field trips, and placements as required.
  • Evaluate and provide feedback on student work and examinations.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of students' academic performance.
  • Mentor 15-20 students through a mentoring program.
  • Update data in virtual learning environments and other software as necessary.
  • Embed values into teaching practices and participate in departmental committees as needed.
  • Ensure teaching content and methods align with the organization's mission and respond to subordinate and student needs.
  • Monitor and randomly check student attendance in classes, labs, and practicals.
  • Contribute to publications, disseminate research findings, and seek practical applications of research results.
  • Engage in independent research, lead projects, and supervise research teams or PhD students when required.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by the Head of Department.
