The role of Quality Assurance Specialist involves ensuring the quality and reliability of software solutions.
This position works closely with software developers and architects to identify and resolve issues, develop tests, analyze results and report findings.
- Develop test plans based on software requirements and technical specifications.
- Record and document test results and compare them to expected outcomes.
- Detect software failures to identify defects that need correction.
- Document and report issues, track issue resolution and ensure continuous improvement.
- Participate in application planning meetings to align with project goals.
- Design and establish an automated testing infrastructure.
- Create and enhance test automation scripts for seamless execution.
- Implement Continuous Integration of automated tests using Jenkins for efficient testing.
- Understand the application's environment to develop a suitable automation approach.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a software development environment as a programmer or tester.
- Experience with QA Automation tools for efficient testing.
- Ability to write automated scripts for testing User Interfaces, REST-based APIs and Web Services.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent problem-solving and documentation skills to track issue resolution.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Experience with payment processing software for enhanced testing capabilities.
