About Our Mission

We strive to create a better world by connecting people who don't speak the local language with medical professionals and other essential services.

Our goal is to empower individuals in need through technology. We do this by arranging translators and interpreters for patients, crime victims, and others who require assistance navigating their new country.

We work closely with hospitals, courts/lawyers, and municipalities to provide our end customers with the support they need.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Engineering: Develop scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to collect and process large datasets from various sources.
  • Data Analysis: Create data visualizations and identify patterns to communicate actionable metrics to stakeholders on strategic initiatives.
  • Dashboard Development: Design and manage dynamic dashboards and leaderboards.
  • Data Modeling: Develop new data models to support analytics and Metabase dashboards.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Maintain existing data models to support reporting and analytics.
  • SQL Query Optimization: Optimize SQL queries for efficient execution of analytics data models.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a related role.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
  • Experience with ETL tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow, dbt, Talend).
  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, or other relevant languages.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and related services (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI).
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
