About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy & Infrastructure Lawyer to join our team. As an Energy & Infrastructure Lawyer, you will have the opportunity to work with high-profile organizations on a range of diverse and interesting legal advisory projects.

You will advise clients on commercial and corporate topics, including day-to-day advice. You can expect to be involved in a wide variety of energy and infrastructure transactions across multiple countries within the Middle East, helping our clients deal with the evolution of the energy and infrastructure landscape.

The projects you may work on can include greenfield project development and project finance transactions, development and adaptation of regulatory models, and M&A across the energy and infrastructure sectors.

As part of a global entity, you can also expect to manage leads and opportunities from other areas of the law practice and the wider organization, and help them do the same.

You will be a core contributor to the development of the legal practice through initiatives such as delivering internal training, developing precedents, sharing knowledge, participating in team and firm events, giving internal and external presentations, and producing expert articles for publications.

Skill Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a qualified lawyer from a reputable legal practice environment.
  • A good understanding of common topics within the sector, such as project agreements, project finance documentation, construction contracts, O&M agreements, oil & gas contracting structures, etc.
  • The ability to develop regulatory frameworks for evolving utility markets.
  • Strong client relationship-building capabilities combined with strategic and commercial awareness.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, self-management, and project management skills.
