Senior Financial Leader

The Head of Finance/Financial Controller plays a critical role in overseeing the financial operations of an organization.

  • Preparation and submission of accurate and timely financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) are key responsibilities.
  • A smooth month-end closing process and reporting are essential for effective decision-making.
  • Staying up-to-date on the latest accounting principles and regulatory requirements is crucial for maintaining compliance.
Main Responsibilities:Financial Reporting & Accounting:
  • Preparing accurate and timely financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) requires attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • A well-organized month-end closing process ensures timely and accurate reporting.
  • Staying informed about the latest accounting principles and regulatory requirements helps prevent costly errors.
Financial Planning & Analysis:
  • Designing and implementing comprehensive financial plans, forecasts, and variance analysis enables informed strategic business decisions.
  • Analyzing complex financial data requires strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Treasury & Cash Flow Management:
  • Oversight of all aspects of cash flow management, including forecasting, collections, and disbursements, is critical for maintaining liquidity.
Risk Management & Internal Controls:
  • Conducting thorough risk assessments and implementing robust internal controls safeguards company assets.
Compliance:
  • Maintaining relationships with external auditors and ensuring strict compliance with regulatory requirements is essential for avoiding costly penalties.
Team Management:
  • Leading and managing the finance department efficiently requires strong leadership and communication skills.
Cost Management:

Identifying and implementing cost-saving measures enhances profitability by reducing unnecessary expenses.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (CA or ACCA qualification highly valued). A minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior role, preferably within the food and beverage industry, is required.
