Job Title: Fiber Optic Route Inspector

We seek a skilled professional to inspect and maintain our fiber optic network.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for checking all routes assigned by management, ensuring the integrity of our aerial and underground fiber infrastructure. This includes inspecting aerial and underground fiber routes, hand holes, and fiber joints to ensure they are secure and free from damage.

In addition to these duties, the Fiber Optic Route Inspector will provide regular updates and alerts to their supervisor regarding any civil work or maintenance activities on our routes.

  • Inspect and maintain aerial and underground fiber routes
  • Check and protect hand holes and fiber joints
  • Monitor digging processes on routes daily
  • Inform management of any cable cutting or other issues in the field
Key Requirements:
  • Excellent knowledge of city/brain cable routes
  • Ability to drive motorcycle/cycle
  • Good communication skills and confidence in field work
