Transaction Tax Specialist

This is a prime opportunity for seasoned tax professionals to assume key roles in shaping the financial landscape of emerging markets.

As a Transaction Tax Manager, your primary focus will be on providing expert guidance to clients navigating complex tax implications of strategic transactions, acquisitions, disposals, refinancing, restructurings, or initial public offerings.

You will play a pivotal role in developing and delivering innovative solutions to mitigate transaction risk, enhance opportunities, and negotiate effectively.

Your Key Responsibilities

You will oversee and participate in the successful delivery of transaction tax engagements and assist senior managers with identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and building client relationships.

You will contribute to building and maintaining key client relationships by delivering exceptional client service and collaborate with a team of Transaction Tax professionals in Pakistan, across MENA region, and globally.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Tax, Economics, Accounting, or Finance, along with approved professional qualifications (ADIT / ATT / ACCA / CPA / ACA / CA / LLB or MBA, MA, MSc, or PhD in fields listed above)
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant Tax experience in business or industry
  • Broad exposure to transaction tax with a focus on inbound and outbound investments
  • Strong managerial, organizational, project management, and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal English language skills
  • Proven track record with a leading professional services firm
  • Experience of managing a team and/or mentoring and developing more junior team members
