We are seeking a highly skilled Travel Consultant/Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for traveling and promoting travel arrangements for clients, with the goal of enhancing client satisfaction and acquiring a dedicated clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Destination Research: Conduct in-depth research on various travel destinations, considering factors such as prices, customs, weather conditions, and reviews.
  • Client Analysis: Diagnose clients' specifications and wishes to suggest suitable travel packages or services.
  • Travel Organization: Plan and execute travels from start to finish, including visa procurement, ticket booking, accommodation arrangements, and rental transportation.
  • Travel Support: Provide travelers with essential information and useful travel materials, such as guides, maps, and event programs.
  • Financial Management: Collect deposits and balances from clients.
  • Promotion and Sales: Utilize promotional techniques and create marketing materials to sell tour packages.
  • Crisis Management: Handle unforeseen problems and complaints, determining eligibility for refunds.
  • Trend Awareness: Stay updated on tourism trends by attending conferences.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain electronic records of clients and their transactions.
  • Relationship Building: Foster relationships with key individuals and stakeholders.
  • Financial Reporting: Manage financial statements and documents.
  • Performance Targets: Meet revenue and profit targets.

Job Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven Experience: Proven working experience as a Travel Consultant is highly valued.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent knowledge of traveling software, computer reservations systems, GDS systems, and e-travel platforms.
  • Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
  • Sales and Communication Skills: Exemplary sales skills and customer-oriented approach.
  • Presentation and Persuasion: Ability to present, persuade, and communicate effectively.
  • Crisis Management: Demonstrable ability to handle crises.
  • Educational Background: Degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, or Marketing is preferred.
  • Personal Travel Experience: Candidates with personal travel experience will be given preference.
