Senior Full Stack Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to lead our development efforts. This individual will drive the creation of cutting-edge web applications while mentoring junior developers and contributing to technical strategy.

This role requires a team player with expertise in both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries. Additionally, experience as a Team Lead is essential.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable with the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage project tasks and timelines are also required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Estimate work accurately, revise estimates, and provide options to technical challenges.
• Manage the execution of project and task assignments with developers and the PM team.
• Lead the technical aspects of development and production.
• Craft and maintain Statements of Work, project plans, schedules, and task breakdowns/modules to achieve defined scopes of work.
• Leverage internal tools, standards, and processes in all client work.
• Collaborate with PM's to translate requirements into comprehensive project approaches/plans that align with established timelines and budgets.
• Drive satisfaction through repeated project delivery successes and strategic engagement.
• Work closely with web team members (typically Senior Engineers) in the delivery of project work and in alignment with established project metrics.
• Conduct regular one-on-ones with web developers to continuously improve project approaches and outcomes.
• Assist peers and junior team members with debugging code or resolving technical problems.
• Implement tools and best practices and serve as a subject-matter expert.
• Enhance, re-architect, or write new algorithms for better performance.
• Understand and lead enterprise application design and development in MERN.
• Deploy production codebases in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Google, etc.
• Maintain adherence to company coding standards and development practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience working as a Full Stack Developer.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Team Lead.
• Hands-on experience with Typescript, Angular/React, NestJS, NodeJS, and ExpressJS.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and debugging/analyzing skills.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with AWS components such as S3, EC2, SQS, SNS, Lambda function, etc.
• Enterprise-level experience in performing architecture and hands-on development with MERN.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB and DynamoDB.
• Familiarity with Elastic Search, Redis, and Memcached.
• Experience in architecting and deploying applications for AWS.
• Container-based microservice architectures (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Provisioning DevOps tools and continuous integration.
• Building server applications using multiple open-source stacks.
• Architecting and operating scalable software systems and services.
• Familiarity with major architecture patterns.
• Familiarity with Atlassian JIRA/Redmine, Confluence, Git, and current tools.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks.
