Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced senior systems engineer to lead our camera firmware development team.

About the Role
  • The successful candidate will design, develop, and validate cutting-edge systems-level software, hardware, architecture, algorithms, and solutions for advanced mobile devices.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers in researching and developing embedded imaging solutions using Snapdragon chipsets.
  • Create firmware to control Camera – ISP HW accelerators including post-processing modules on Snapdragon chipsets.
  • Develop strong knowledge of image processing, C/C++, assembly language programming, and debugging.
  • Collaborate with geographically distributed teams and customers to drive digital transformation.
  • Lead design, planning, execution, tracking, commercialization, and support of firmware projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of experience in systems engineering or related work.
  • Strong knowledge of image processing, C/C++ programming, and debugging.
  • Experience with embedded systems, Android & Linux, and version control tools.
  • Leadership experience and ability to work independently within a fast-paced collaborative environment.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience; OR
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience; OR
  • PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
