Warehouse Inventory Control Strategist

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and organized Warehouse Inventory Control Strategist to lead the efficient operation of our warehouse and inventory management system.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of inventory control, logistics, and supply chain management principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinate daily updates of inventory records across ERP, Excel, and QuickBooks systems.
  2. Collaborate with warehouse managers to maintain accurate records of all inwards and outwards transactions.
  3. Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for warehouse operations to ensure seamless day-to-day activities.
  4. Serve as a liaison between Operations and Accounting teams to facilitate effective communication and decision-making.
  5. Ensure timely accounting entries and bookkeeping of all transactions through the accounts team.
  6. Optimize delivery vehicle usage and ensure timely dispatch and consolidation of all orders.
  7. Conduct regular physical inventories of warehouses and reconcile discrepancies.
  8. Accurately document inventory sheets and calculate total supply chain costs.
  9. Strategically plan warehouse, logistic operations, procurement, and inventory levels.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control and logistics principles.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Experience with ERP, Excel, and QuickBooks systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
