Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to lead our financial operations. As a strategic partner, you will contribute to the development and execution of financial strategies, aligning with business objectives.

About the Role:

This leadership position involves overseeing financial planning, budgeting, compliance, and reporting to ensure financial health and drive business growth. You will analyze market and industry trends to inform strategic financial planning, prepare financial statements, and present financial insights to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development and execution of financial strategies in line with business objectives.
  • Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Analyze market and industry trends to inform strategic financial planning.
  • Prepare financial statements, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Presentation of financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Conduct profitability assessments, cost evaluations, and investment analyses.
  • Manage financial operations related to online sales, including forecasting and margin analysis.
  • Monitor KPIs for e-commerce and recommend actions to improve profitability.

Cash Flow Management:

  • Optimize working capital and manage payment cycles and investments.
  • Identification and management of risks related to currency fluctuations and supplier agreements.

Cost Control & Profitability:

  • Implementation of cost control measures across sourcing, production, and logistics.
  • Evaluation of existing cost structures and suggestion of improvements to increase margins.
  • Enhancement of operational efficiencies and reduction of overheads.

Financial Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Ensure adherence to local and international financial regulations.
  • Leadership of external audits and maintenance of accurate, timely reporting.
  • Identification of financial risks and development of mitigation strategies.
  • Supervision and mentorship of finance team members.
  • Fostering a culture of continuous learning and adherence to best financial practices.
  • Definition of team roles, KPIs, and performance metrics.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, vendors, and banks.
  • Support for supplier and vendor negotiations with financial insights.
  • Enhancement of financial systems to improve analytics and decision-making.
  • Overseeing integration of ERP, data, and e-commerce platforms for better financial visibility.
