The role of Senior Research Assistant is pivotal in advancing medical research, particularly in the fields of HIV/AIDS and Tuberculosis.

Job Description

This is a short-term contractual position designed to support a study focused on understanding treatment adherence among patients suffering from HIV/AIDS and TB. The research will be conducted at a tertiary care center in Pakistan, in collaboration with the National TB Program.

The primary goal of this study is to identify patterns of treatment default, explore patient-related risk factors, and uncover barriers to adherence through patient interviews.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit patients for the registry
  • Collect data from patients over the phone
  • Enter data into an online portal
  • Contribute to manuscript writing
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in social sciences, public administration, or a related field from a recognized university.

Candidates should also have at least 1 year of relevant experience in clinical research projects, demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong critical thinking abilities, organizational, and management skills.

Able individuals should possess a proven ability to work independently, demonstrate teamwork, maturity, and the capacity to multitask effectively.

Familiarity with computer applications, especially MS Office, is also essential.
