We are seeking a skilled e-commerce developer to lead the end-to-end development, customization, and optimization of online stores.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain custom e-commerce solutions from concept to launch.
  • Create clean, efficient, and well-documented code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid.
  • Integrate third-party APIs, apps, and services, such as payment gateways, shipping providers, and marketing tools.
  • Work across the front-end (UI/UX) and back-end (server logic, APIs, databases) to deliver seamless functionality.
Performance Optimization:
  • Optimize website speed, responsiveness, and performance to improve user experience and conversion rates.
  • Conduct audits to identify performance bottlenecks and implement solutions.
  • Implement SEO best practices for improved search visibility and organic traffic.
Collaboration & Project Management:
  • Partner with designers, project managers, and clients to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Participate in the full development lifecycle: planning, coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Use version control tools (Git/GitHub) to manage collaborative development.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across front-end and back-end systems.
E-commerce Expertise:
  • Maintain expert knowledge of e-commerce platforms, including APIs and the app store.
  • Stay updated with the latest e-commerce features, tools, and industry best practices.
  • Provide technical guidance on e-commerce development, architecture, and process improvements.
Requirements:Experience:
  • 5+ years of e-commerce development experience, with at least 2+ years focused on Shopify.
  • Proven track record of custom theme and/or app development.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing e-commerce projects.
Technical Skills:
  • e-commerce Tech Stack: Expert in HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Front-End Frameworks: Experience with React, Vue.js, or similar.
  • Back-End Knowledge: Familiarity with Node.js or Ruby on Rails for custom apps.
  • API Integration: Hands-on experience with e-commerce APIs and third-party services.
  • Version Control: Proficiency in Git/GitHub workflows.
Core Competencies:
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices (SEO, CRO, UX/UI).
  • Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with both technical and non-technical teams.
