Job Summary

As a Technical Visionary, you will be responsible for taking business requirements and transforming them into software designs that serve as blueprints for implementation teams to follow. Additionally, you will ensure that implementation teams adhere to the design and deliver projects in accordance with agreed-upon specifications.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • A Technical Visionary at our organization participates in the presales, user experience design, sprint, development, and delivery phases of a project, reviewing the overall proposal.
  • During user experience design, you provide valuable input and review wireframes from a technical standpoint.
  • Before actual development work begins, you produce necessary artifacts to guide the team.
  • The solutions design document serves as essential guidance for the development team.
  • During the development phase, you ensure that the design is followed, and any changes to the design are properly documented.
  • Architects also review work produced by the development team.
  • You provide necessary training to developers and serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders and the team on all technical matters.
Requirements

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from a reputable institution.
  • At least 10 years of hands-on experience, preferably as a full-stack developer across multiple technologies.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience making critical architecture and design decisions, including data domain modeling, application of design patterns, and design using third-party components.
  • Strong ability to collaborate effectively within diverse and dynamic environments.
  • Proven expertise in engineering and software architecture design, accompanied by an in-depth understanding of coding languages, operating systems, and databases. Additionally, you should possess strong organizational and leadership skills.
Technical Requirements

  • Superior Communication Skills: Effectively communicate with stakeholders, project managers, developers, and software vendors involved in the software development process.
  • Project and Resource Management: Ensure that project resources are utilized efficiently and impactfully.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess technical education and hands-on experience across major areas of the software development process, as well as hardware engineering expertise for software projects relying on hardware.
  • Risk Identification and Management: Analyze and identify potential short-term and long-term risks that may cause technical issues and hinder business operations.
