We're seeking a highly skilled Consultant Specialist to join our team. As a key member, you'll be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining Cognos systems.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining sound knowledge of Cognos tools, including older versions.
• Handling Cognos licensing and ensuring seamless integration.
• Installing fix packs and add-ons, automating tasks, and troubleshooting issues.
• Coordinating with vendors to implement Cognos solutions.
• Resolving complex tickets and escalated issues from Level 2 support.
• Conducting root cause analysis and providing resolutions.

You'll also engage in proactive problem management, coordinate with support groups, and upgrade existing environments to recommended versions.

As a Consultant Specialist, you'll have the opportunity to work on various projects, develop reports, and schedule jobs. You'll also design backup and restore policies in collaboration with application teams.

In addition to your technical expertise, you'll create best practice documentation and set up disaster recovery procedures.
